A milestone for the bilateral relationship
The Australia & Bahrain Business Chamber has completed its formal registration in the Kingdom of Bahrain as a WLL entity (registration number 182849-1), making it the only bilateral chamber in the history of the Australia-Bahrain relationship.
What this means
Registration as a Bahraini entity provides:
- Legal standing to operate commercially in Bahrain and the GCC
- Government access through formal recognition by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce
- Banking and contracting capability within the Kingdom
- Credibility as a permanent bilateral institution, not a project-based initiative
Office locations
The Chamber now operates from two locations:
- Australia: MENA House, Saraband Drive, Brisbane, Australia 4037
- Bahrain: Office No. 1002, Building 1260, Road No. 2421, Block 324, Juffair, Manama, Bahrain
Chairman's statement
Simon Harrison, Chairman: "This registration formalises what has been years of work building the bilateral relationship. Having a permanent, registered presence in Manama means we can advocate for our members directly with Bahraini government and private sector partners."
Membership open
The Chamber is now accepting membership applications across all tiers. Founding members who join before Q3 2026 will receive recognition in our annual report and priority access to our inaugural Bahrain trade delegation.
